Horrorfest back at Midway Drive-In

DIXON – Area horror fans can unite under the stars this weekend to watch three classic films.

The annual Flashback Drive-In Horrorfest returns Saturday to the historic Midway Drive-In and Diner, 91 Palmyra Road between Dixon and Sterling.

The 1982 film “The Thing” will start the lineup, followed by 1986’s “Aliens,” then 1977’s “The Town That Dreaded Sundown.”

Admission to all three is $10 for adults and $5 for ages 3 to 11. Gates open at 7 p.m. The first show starts at 8 p.m., and there’s a diner on site.
