Honeybee program Monday in Polo

POLO – Illinois Beekeepers Association member Mike Scholl will present a free program about honeybees from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at Polo Public Library, 302 W. Mason St.

Topics will include the life cycle of honeybees, how they collect pollen and nectar, why bees are needed, health benefits, and beekeeping industry problems. All ages are welcome.
