More time available to turn in histories

STERLING – May 15 is the final deadline for submissions for the new Whiteside County History & Families Book.  

Items which can be turned in include business, church, school, and organization histories, and memorial or tribute pages for current or former Whiteside County residents.

A list is available for businesses to provide information for histories, which a professional writer will complete. Contact Don Mulnix at dsm_1944@yahoo.com or Marjorie Bowman at 815-626-2700 to receive the list.

Book orders will be accepted in advance. The cost is $54.95. Shipping is $6. To order or to send in histories, write Whiteside County Genealogists, P.O. Box 145, Sterling, IL 61081.
