WRIGHT CITY, Mo. – Evelyn Mae Nailor, 82, of Wright City, Mo., died Monday, April 15, 2013.

Evelyn was a longtime member of Open Hearts Methodist Church in Wright City, and taught Sunday school for more than 30 years. She also loved to crochet.

She is survived by her daughters, Pamela (Theodore) Picraux of Washington, Mo., and Sandra (David) Christopher of Wright City; sons, Thomas (Jill) Nailor of Mundelein and Henry (Kristi) Nailor of Kirkwood, Mo.; brothers, Cornelius (Barbara) Geerts of Morrison, Cecil (Pearl) Geerts of Erie, and Robert (Janice) Geerts of Milledgeville; sister, Jeannie (Vernon) Schaver of Fulton; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Geerts; mother, Jennie Geerts; spouse, Earl T. Nailor; and brother, Jacob Geerts.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Pitman Funeral Home, 300 E. Veterans Memorial Parkway, Wright City, Mo. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Open Hearts Church, 70 Bell Road, Wright City. Interment will be at Wright City Cemetery.
