Learn about older adult opportunities

CLINTON, Iowa – Services and activities will be featured April 30 at the 23rd annual Plus 50 Living Fair.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Oakwood Grand Ballroom at Wild Rose Casino and Resort, 777 Wild Rose Drive. The fair is free; and open to all ages.

More than 40 businesses and services will be present; each one will offer door prizes.

The purpose of the fair is to bring businesses and organizations together to focus on the area's 50 and older population.

Mercy Medical Center staff will have health screenings. Tests include a complete lipid profile,12-hour fast required, for $15; cholesterol only, $7; glucose only, 2-hour fast, $8; cholesterol and glucose, 2-hour fast, for $10; prostate-specific antigen, $25; and blood pressure checks, free.
