Greens to create money for tourism

FULTON – Plant donations are needed to raise money for the beautification of the De Immigrant Windmill area.

The annual plant and flower sale will be from 8 a.m. to noon May 11 at Robert Fulton Commons-River Bend Senior Center & Transit Facility, 912 Fourth St.

Plants in plastic pots, plastic bags, or cardboard flats can be dropped off from 4 to 7 p.m. May 10 at the station.

The sale is organized by the University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners and Friends of the Windmill.
