Asian Buffet might open this month
STERLING – Mike Wei, owner of Asian Buffet, said Tuesday that he hopes to open the restaurant this month.
Yep, this month.
Work has been going hot and heavy on the long-anticipated restaurant. The eatery at 3106 E. Lincolnway now has outdoor lighting on its roof.
Wei had hoped to open the restaurant, which will serve Chinese food and Mongolian stir-fry, in April 2010.
First Wok, also owned by Wei, remains closed. The restaurant at 1110 First Ave., Rock Falls, sustained smoke and fire damage in a Dec. 12 fire.
