Autism fundraiser planned at Walmart

DIXON – A bake sale to raise money to promote for autism awareness will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 1640 S. Galena Ave.

There will be an auction and a 50/50 drawing. Autism bracelets will be sold for $2.

Organizers will take part May 18 in Walk Now for Autism Speaks at Soldier Field in Chicago. Their goal is $2,000, with all proceeds going to autism research.
