Vote Wescott for city mayor

Bill Wescott can bring jobs, businesses, good ideas and a new attitude. It’s up to us to do our job and vote. Wescott will work on the list of whys.

Why does Rock Falls pay 40 percent higher electricity rates, double on garbage rates, and again raise water and cable rates?

Why do we spend millions (10 years) for three people and a nice RFCDC office that only backs up the mayor’s “follies”? Why do we support the Rock Falls Chamber that also supports the mayor’s follies?

Why do we have a well-paid tourism director who lives in Mount Carroll? Why did the mayor hire a city administrator with no experience/education?

Why did the mayor want to save a junk building like Reliant for $7.3 million and want to knock down the only tourism attraction Rock Falls has – the beautiful, historical, sound limestone building overlooking the beautiful lower dam, Lawrence Park, and the eagles, pelicans, seagulls and egrets?

Wescott is a remarkable, intelligent, helpful, friendly, “on the ball” city clerk. As mayor, he can do more than administer city functions. He can guide and improve them.

It’s easy to vote and extremely important that you do. I’ll see you at the polls.
