School transit budget could feel the pinch

It’s all for the children. Well, after they find out where the money is coming from to pay for all those goodies that a lot of people would love to have, it could turn around and backfire.

I hear that part of the money is coming from transportation. If it does, that will mean less school buses and drivers. They want less students in classrooms, but it’s OK to put up to 75 students on a school bus, which makes a long day away from home – but it’s for the children.

We’d better wake up. This state spends more money than it takes in. Just like Washington, it’s going to get only worse.
