The pillar of the Fritts family is Margaret Fritts, who sets the example of service to others. Margaret’s son, Ed, follows in her footsteps.
Margaret was St. Patrick’s Meals on Wheels coordinator for many years. After I took over Margaret’s duties, the first call I received was from Ed Fritts. He said that anytime I needed help, Nancy, Bradley and he are available.
This was especially true during a recent snowstorm. I received another call from Ed. He told me to call him if volunteer drivers canceled due to the weather.
This is the kind of person Ed Fritts is. One of his duties as township supervisor would be serving people in need. He will accept this responsibility with care and concern, while being conscious of the tax dollars entrusted to him by the people of Dixon Township.
Before he moved to the city of Dixon, Ed gained 10 years of experience as supervisor of South Dixon Township. This experience, along with his business administration major in college, will guide him in performing his duties as Dixon Township supervisor.
I ask you to vote with confidence for Ed Fritts for Dixon Township supervisor on April 9.
