Resale store reopens – in Mount Morris

MOUNT MORRIS – Angel Treasures has moved to its new location at 4045 W. state Route 64 and is open for business.

The resale shop operated by Serenity Hospice and Home was in downtown Oregon but lacked easy parking for customers and people dropping off donations. It now has both.

The store accepts donations of used clothing, housewares, furniture, toys, glassware, dishes, collectibles, seasonal items, movies and music. No baby seats, cribs, mattresses, or large appliances are accepted.

In Oregon, items can be dropped off at Flamingo Palace, 109 S. Third St., where owner Don Atkinson is a Serenity Hospice and Home volunteer. He and other volunteers also will pick up donations; call Don at 815-751-6609 to arrange a pick-up.

Angel Treasures hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Call 779-545-0092 to reach the store.
