Senior Justin Hohlen, 18, is Dixon High School's March Student of the Month. He plans to become a veterinarian.

Senior Justin Hohlen, 18, is Dixon High School’s March Student of the Month. His parents are Kent and Sue Hohlen, and he has a sister, Lexie. He has a dog named Cosmo and two goldfish.

Favorite class: Biology. I love science and learning about the different aspects of life.

Top teacher: Jeff Clark, biology. He keeps us involved in the class with fun labs and a fun atmosphere.

Extracurriculars: Basketball, track, football, 4-H, Envirothon.

After graduation: I want to study pre-veterinary medicine at the University of Illinois or Iowa State.

Paycheck: I work for Stewart Beverage as a merchandiser on Sunday mornings. I put the Pepsi products on the shelves. I enjoy it.

Best friend: Christy Casey. The cool thing about her is that I can talk about anything with her.

Favorite singer: Jason Aldean.

Favorite actor: Sean Connery.

Favorite movie and TV shows: “Duck Dynasty”, James Bond movies, Star Wars, “American Pickers”, Conan.

Hobbies: Playing video games, and collecting Star Wars Legos.

Favorite outdoor activity: Fishing.

Favorite food: Chicken strips from the Candlelight Inn.

Favorite place to shop: Online.

Biggest fear? Heights.

Pet peeve? Clutter.

Dream job: I would like to be one of the presenters on the British Top Gear.

Trading places: I would trade places with President Obama, so I could see what it is like to have that job, and I would go through a normal day. 

Trading spaces: New Zealand, because it is a beautiful country with great people.

Trend you wish would go away? Saggy pants and guys wearing skinny jeans.

Favorite website: Facebook.

What would you do if you had $100,000? Buy a Camaro ZL1.

What do you wish your high school offered? FFA.

What’s a tip you would give freshmen for making high school life easier? Don’t make drama.
