Man charged with dealing cocaine

STERLING – A Sterling man was arrested Monday and charged with selling cocaine in November near City of God church, 912 W. Sixth St., police said in a news release.

Edward M. Geddes, 34, was arrested at 11:46 a.m. after a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Avenue K and was taken to Whiteside County Jail, the release said. No further information was available.

Geddes was sentenced to 4 years of probation in 2006, also for selling cocaine, Whiteside County Court records show.
