Senior Renee Henert, 18, is the January Student of the Month at AFC High School. The Ashton resident is the daughter of Linda, 49, and Nolan, 53; she has a sister, Dana, 22, and a brother, William, 20.

Favorite class: Biology 2.

Top teachers: Mr. T, Mr. Carpenter, Mr. Petitt.

Extracurriculars: FFA, 4-H, National Honor Society, Student Council.

After graduation: I’m going to Murray State University in Kentucky to study ag business and equine science.

Paycheck: Showing horses and raising beef cattle.

Best friend: My horse, Kaycee.
