DIXON – Edna M. Bonnell, 86, of Dixon, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon.

She was born Oct. 21, 1926, in Stillman Valley, the daughter of Clarence and Lula (Gouker) Morris. She married Darwin G. Bonnell on Dec. 9, 1950, in Rockford. He preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 1993. 

Survivors include two sons, Richard (Sue) Bonnell of South Carolina and Dennis (Belenda) Lewis of Dixon; four daughters, Deb (Bob) Fossett and Rhonda (Roi) Degner, both of Dixon, Deniece (Al) Charvat of Helena, Mont., and Daretta (Paul) Lester of Citronelle, Ala.; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Annabelle (Harmon) Aubuchon of St. Louis.

She also was preceded in death by her sons, Glenn and Dewayne Bonnell; one grandson; one great-grandson; brothers, John, Raymond, Luther, and Charles; and sisters, Olivia and Ruth.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday and the funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home in Dixon, with the Rev. Stan Rodabaugh officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Serenity Hospice & Home.
