Area senior services company to expand, hire more workers

ROCKFORD – Community Care Systems Inc. will move to the third floor of its Rockford office building to accommodate office expansion due to the company’s continued growth.

The goal is to be moved into the new space by May 1.

Community Care Systems Inc. assists seniors through an Illinois Department on Aging contract, providing services in Jo Daviess, Stephenson, Winnebago, Boone, Carroll, Ogle, DeKalb, Whiteside, and Lee counties.

The company has provided services in these counties for more than 30 years.

Its mission is to maintain dignity, independence, emotional stability. It also promotes health and safety by providing support to those who require assistance and have a desire to remain in the familiarity of their own homes.

Community Care Systems Inc. is accepting applications for employment for home care aides.

Home care aides are employed to provide essential non-medical homemaker services to senior’s other than 60, as well as clients through the Veterans Administration, Department of Rehabilitation and on a private pay basis.

They offer full- or part- time hours, a complete benefit package, mileage, travel time, and a union health insurance plan that is offered at no cost to the employee.

Services for the clients can include assistance with personal care activities, routine house cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, companion and respite care, essential errands. They also escort to physician and local stores, and relief for family member and care givers who work during the day.
