WOODSTOCK (AP) – A Woodstock man is being held in connection with attacks on women he met through personal ads posted on Craigslist.

Charles R. Oliver is being held on sexual assault, kidnapping, intimidation and harassment charges in connection with attacks on six people between November 2011 and February 2013. Authorities say the Oliver, 44, met five of the victims through personal ads on the Internet.

Oliver is charged with harassing the husband of one of the women who was raped and prevented from leaving his home.

Authorities say Oliver was originally arrested in January. After more victims came forward he was arrested again and is being in lieu of $300,000 bail.

Prosecutors want Oliver’s bail revoked. A hearing on the request will be held Tuesday.
