DIXON – Cody Elliot Andreas, 21, of Dixon, died Saturday, March 23, 2013, at his home. He worked in the kitchen and did odd jobs at Timber Creek Country Club.

Cody was born Oct. 10, 1991, in Dixon, the son of Christine Andreas and Gary Johnson. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dixon. One of his greatest experiences was a mission trip to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Cody loved playing guitar, football and avidly working out at the YMCA.

Survivors include his mother, Christine Andreas of Dixon; his father, Gary Johnson; two sisters, Julie Debord and Jennifer (Jason) Phillips, both of Dixon; maternal grandmother, Yvonne (Jerry) Fane of Oregon; maternal step-grandmother, Peggy Andreas of Dixon; aunts and uncles, Mike (Sue) Andreas of Marysville, Gina (Greg) Quaco of Dixon, Jan (Charles) Henry of Strongsville, Ohio, Kirk Andreas of Amboy, and Timothy Rauch of Rockford; great-aunt and great-uncle, Opal and Ken Parrott; step-aunt and uncle, Laurel Nagy of Dixon and Bill Jeske of Arizona; many cousins; good friend, Chris Valdivieso; and his beloved pet, Joseph.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Max Andreas, and maternal great-grandmother, Waneta Thompson.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon, with the family present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Dixon, with the Rev. Mike Jones, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon.

A memorial has been established.
