Vote Storey for road chief

Fellow Palmyra Township residents:

Tuesday, April 9, is an off-year local election.  Sometimes it’s hard to get excited about off-year elections, but this year is different if you live in Palmyra Township like I do.

We have an unusual race on this ballot that will impact our daily lives. The office of Palmyra Township road commissioner is up for election, and there are several candidates running this year.

Whatever the reason for so many candidates, whether it’s lack of keeping our roads free of snow and well maintained for safety purposes or other issues, this is the year to pay attention.

I am sure all of the candidates are good, well-intentioned men. But I personally know one candidate and know that it’s time to re-energize the office of road commissioner.

Derrick Storey is a local family man, new to politics, but not new to a hard day’s work.  He is experienced in all aspects of road construction and has experience in snow removal business for many years.

I personally know Derrick Storey to be of impeccable character, hard-working, and interested in saving our tax money. Please vote for Derrick Storey on April 9.
