Keep Farster where he is

After reading the opinion from the man in Grand Detour about township supervisors, I decided to give my opinion. If you have ever had to ask for help with bills, groceries, no money at all coming in, you would understand.

Mr. Farster has helped me up and beyond. He’s upfront, honest, and does everything in his power to help you any way he can. He’s a very helpful man who really tries to help people survive until they can get back on their feet. He doesn’t make you feel as if it’s coming out of his own pocket.

In 2012 at Thanksgiving, he gave all of us turkey and dressing. He didn’t have to do that, and I was so humbled. It’s very overwhelming, and people like him and his secretary. They don’t even have insurance through the township. That’s a savings right there for the county. He believes in unions and is just someone we need to stay right where he is.

I don’t think the other candidates would ever be able to fill his shoes. He plays by the rules and doesn’t abuse his rights or privileges. We need to keep Doug Farster right where he is, the township supervisor.
