Robert W. Troxell

HARMON – Robert W. Troxell, 77, of Harmon, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Rock Falls Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Robert was born Feb. 17, 1936, in Princeton, the son of Robert and Ella (Owens) Troxell. He married Carol Ann Miller on Sept. 8, 1956, in Harmon. He was employed by DeKalb Feeds in Rock Falls for 44 years. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid bowler. Robert was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings and New York Yankees, and in his younger years, loved playing sports.

Survivors include his wife, and one son, Robert (Laurie) Troxell, both of Harmon; one daughter, Lori (Richard) Carr of Deer Grove; five sisters, Patricia Richardson and Kay (Joe) Brown, both of Harmon, Sharon (Bob) Hudson of Tampico, Mary (Marvin) Finkle of Rock Falls, and Glenda (Bill) Kaecker of Harmon; six brothers, Thomas (Gwen) Troxell of Walnut, Doug (Shirla) Troxell of Rock Falls, Don Troxell of Dixon, Ron (Sharon) Troxell of Harmon, Gary Troxell of Walnut, and Steve (Teri) Troxell of Buda; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
