Heather C. Brownlee, 19, of Amboy; 2:28 a.m. Wednesday at Josiah Avenue and Bacon Street; speeding; posted bond.

Sterling Police

Laura D. Lucas, 25, of Sterling; 12:59 a.m. Wednesday at Broadway Avenue and East Third Street; speeding, driving with a suspended license, illegal transportation of alcohol, texting while driving under the influence of alcohol; given notice to appear in court.

Bradley J. Dalton, 53, of Davenport, Iowa; 8:57 a.m. Wednesday at East Lincolnway and Woodlawn Road; no seat belt; given notice to appear in court.

Tara D. Buntjer, 23, of Sterling; 11:29 a.m. in the 900 block of West Third Street; Whiteside County warrant – failure to appear – aggravated battery; posted $100.

Keiko H. Fliss, 61, of Dixon; 2:25 p.m. Wednesday at East Fourth Street and 12th Avenue; no seat belt; posted $60.

Jeffrey T. Johnson, 27, of Peoria; 2:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Locust Street; speeding; posted driver’s license.

Ellen R. Fellows, 48, of Rock Falls; 7:01 p.m. Wednesday at 4115 E. Lincolnway; retail theft, less than $300; given notice to appear in court.

Alexandra Edwards, 17, of Sterling; 8:06 am. Thursday at East 11th Street and Fifth Avenue; stop sign violation, after failing to stop and striking a vehicle driven by Amanda M. Boyer, 32, of Sterling; Boyer was charged with no insurance; both posted drivers’ license and taken to CGH Medical Center. Aid provided by CGH Ambulance and Sterling Fire Department. State Police

Benjamin Y. Breneman, 18, of Franklin Grove; 2:42 p.m. Wednesday at Prophetstown Road and Lenore Street, Whiteside County; no seat belt; posted I-bond.
