Donna R. Orlowski

STERLING – Donna R. Orlowski, 81, of Sterling, died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Sterling Pavilion, after a long battle with kidney disease. She was a data processor and accountant for Northwestern Steel and Wire Co. for 35 years, and was an active volunteer for the CGH Health Foundation.

Donna was born March 5, 1932, in Sterling, the daughter of Daniel and Ila (Gorzney) Bowman. She married Francis Orlowski in 1952. He preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 2006.  

Survivors include one son, Michael (Debbi) Orlowski of Sterling; two granddaughters, Courtney (Kevin) Bruckner of Morrison and Kadie Orlowski of Sterling; and two great-grandchildren, Kenzie and Kendyl Bruckner.

She also was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Bowman.

There will be no visitation. Private services will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling. Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling is handling arrangements.

A memorial has been established to the CGH Health Foundation.
