STERLING – Donna R. Orlowski, 81, of Sterling, died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Sterling Pavilion, after a long battle with kidney disease. She was a data processor and accountant for Northwestern Steel and Wire Co. for 35 years, and was an active volunteer for the CGH Health Foundation.

Donna was born March 5, 1932, in Sterling, the daughter of Daniel and Ila (Gorzney) Bowman. She married Francis Orlowski in 1952. He preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 2006.  

Survivors include one son, Michael (Debbi) Orlowski of Sterling; two granddaughters, Courtney (Kevin) Bruckner of Morrison and Kadie Orlowski of Sterling; and two great-grandchildren, Kenzie and Kendyl Bruckner.
