Chicago burglar gets 10 years

STERLING – A Chicago man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for trying to break into a house in Indian Ridge west of Sterling on April 13, 2011.

Darnell A. Clark, 25, of Chicago, pleaded guilty to residential burglary and was given credit for 686 days served. He must pay $1,158.51 in restitution.
