Union to vote on contract today
Board still set to vote Wednesday
DIXON – Teachers will have to wait another day before they can vote on a new contract.
The Dixon Education Association postponed Monday’s vote 24 hours, until today at 3:30 p.m., said Dolph Ricks, union negotiator and Reagan Middle School teacher.
The Dixon School Board and teachers reached an agreement Wednesday that sent students back to school after a strike canceled 9 days of classes.
