Team moves on to state contest

STERLING – The Sterling High School’s Group Interpretation production of “The Homecoming of Samuel Lake” is a winner.

The production claimed the sectional title and is at the state tournament today in Springfield. This is the 18th straight time the group gone to state.

At state, 18 productions will be divided into two rounds, and the top three make it to the finals. Last year, Sterling took sixth place.

Team members are Meghan Clodfelter, Hannah Jakobs, Evan Lobdell, Hannah Matheney, Maryn Palmer, James Schauff, Bradley Schlegel, Kestrel Smoot, Hunter Wolfe, Zach Woesnner, Clarissa Worcester, Anne Zigler, and Collin Zollinger. Tim Schlegel is the director.
