Movies in the Park return with 8 films

STERLING – The city will begin its second summer Movies in the Park season May 23 with “Wreck It Ralph.”

Movies are shown at dusk at Grandon Civic Center. Admission is free.

The rest of the lineup: May 30, “Tangled”; June 13, “Mary Poppins”; June 27, “All Dogs Go to Heaven”; July 11, “The Lorax”; July 25, “Happy Feet”; Aug. 8, “Hotel Transylvania” and Aug. 22, “Shrek.”

“All Dogs Go to Heaven” coincides with the annual downtown Dog Days, and “Happy Feet” will air in conjunction with the Sterling Music Festival.
