Free ash borer program Thursday

ROCK FALLS – A free seminar on the emerald ash borer will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Rock Falls Community Building, 601 W. 10th St.

Marty McGregor of the Bureau of Environmental Programs’ Emerald Ash Program will present.

The city, which is sponsoring the seminar, encourages residents and others to attend to learn how the bug is affecting Rock Falls and what can be done to prevent its spread.
