Baseball manager to speak in Fulton

FULTON – Stephanie Brown, 2012 general manager of the Davenport, Iowa River Bandits baseball team, will give a presentation Wednesday.

Her talk is part of the free, Wild Winter Wednesday series at the Windmill Cultural Center, 111 10th Ave.

Treats will be served at 9 a.m., followed by Brown’s presentation at 9:20 a.m. She helped the Bandits players reach their highest single-season attendance since 1995. Brown is the executive director of Modern Woodmen Park. She will focus on the history of baseball in Davenport, and plans for added attractions.
