Morris F. Forman
AMBOY – Morris F. Forman, 91, of Amboy, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at his daughter’s home.
He was born July 20, 1921, in Elizabeth, Ind., the son of Gilbert and Inez (McElfresh) Forman. He married Marian (Wiser) Walters on Dec. 19, 1945. She preceded him in death on Aug. 30, 2012.
He and his wife owned and operated Forman Nursing Home and Mapleside Manor Nursing Home in Amboy from 1949 until 1995. He was considered a pioneer in the nursing home field and was on the Governors Board in Springfield.
