Woman gets 2 years in prison for spitting
URBANA (AP) — A woman in central Illinois who spit on a nurse at a hospital has been sentenced to two years in prison.
Fifty-year-old Nadine Godden of Champaign pleaded guilty to aggravated battery after admitting she spit in the face of a nurse in January while she was a patient at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.
The (Champaign) News-Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/ZSuzYG ) that a judge sentenced her on Thursday.
