Donation helps people with autism
DIXON – In observance of March Disability Awareness Month, Secure Recycling Services in Dixon donated an iPad to the residents of Kreider Services’ Willow Lane group home.
While electronic recycling is one of its many business endeavors, One of SRS’s prime objectives is to help support services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Since the beginning of the year, part of the recent sales from SRS was used to underwrite the first purchase of a new iPad.
“Using the iPad device empowers a person who has difficulty communicating to have their desires and ideas heard,” Jeff Stauter, Kreider Services’ CEO, said.
