‘Clueless’ Gov. Quinn should learn from JFK
Recently, Gov. Pat Quinn was quoted on a local news break from NBC’s The Today Show as stating, “If I get my way, $25 million will be restored to mental health services.” The Rosecrance facility was also mentioned in that broadcast.
Many believe that this governor is simply posturing for the 2014 primary election. More than 30 percent has been cut from human services spending during his tenure of low-quality, unethical leadership. When he’s not doing a hatchet job on those who need mental health services, he’s busy threatening deep cuts to the educational system.
Further, Quinn is clueless as to the resolution of fiscal issues currently plaguing Illinois, as well as the needs of our mental health system.
