Waiting for the phone call
No agreement as talks go late again
DIXON – A call could come as late as 5 a.m. notifying parents of an agreement between the school board and teachers union, the board said in a news release.
As of 11 p.m., there was no agreement.
Classes were canceled for a ninth day Tuesday, as the teachers have been on strike since Feb. 28. They have been working without a contract since August.
