Man, 28, found dead in creek
Deputies find body by following footsteps after single-car wreck
MOUNT MORRIS – The cause of death of a 28-year-old Mount Morris man, whose body was found in a creek March 8 following a single-car crash, has not yet been determined.
An autopsy has been performed on Shiloh K.F. Balluff, but Coroner Louis Finch said Monday that he will not know what caused Balluff’s death until toxicology and autopsy reports are available.
Sheriff Michael Harn said deputies investigating the report of an accident found Balluff’s 2001 Ford Mustang in a field on the north side of Haldane Road at 6:56 a.m. Some time later, they found Balluff in the creek on the other side of the road, about 900 feet east of the crash site.
