Amen to letter; wake up, people

I am responding to the letter by Dave Fox of Tampico in the March 9 SV Weekend titled “Man changes, but God’s word doesn’t change.”

My response is, “Amen, amen, amen.” Our country was founded by God and the Bible, but thanks to our government, we’re getting further and further away from the Bible’s teachings.

Dave hit the nail on the head in his article. It’s too bad not many people read and respond. We, as Americans, are losing our rights little by little. Wake up, America.

I refuted Dave's letter in his comments as I will with yours. Christianity has stood AGAINST all movements in support of equal rights. It also is not what the country was founded on. The very first amendment, what the founding fathers knew was most important for a society to function properly. "Congress will make no law respecting the establishment of religion." Stop being a child, these are fairy tales without evidence or rationality to support them.
