Amboy High musical was a great show

We attended the Amboy High School spring musical “Grease” the weekend of March 8-10, and to sum it all up in one word – Wow!

The months of hard work and preparation that went into this production produced an outstanding example of what a group of talented and dedicated high school kids is capable of doing. The singing and dancing were spot-on, making this a very enjoyable event for all who attended.

Our hats go off not only to all of the actors and actresses, but also to Hazel Lovgren, the director and “Big Boss,” Kathy Mekeel, who directed the pit orchestra, the pit orchestra members, and everyone responsible for the props, lighting, sound, ticket sellers, sponsors, etc.
