Dixon resident accused of theft, exploitation
DIXON – A Dixon woman made a series of withdrawals from an elderly woman's bank accounts and took out loans on her property, court records say.
Monday, Lee County Court lifted a secrecy order on documents in the case.
Audrey Stanley Smith, 33, was indicted last week on charges of theft, financial institution fraud, computer fraud, financial exploitation of an elderly person, and wire fraud.
