Senior speaks on land disputes

NAPERVILLE – Marissa Slater of Sterling was part of a joint presentation Feb. 19.

The talk was at the second symposium on global human rights at North Central College.

She is a senior, majoring in organizational communication, with a minor in anthropology.

The presentation was titled “Land Disputes Between Aboriginal Peoples and the Australian Government.” 

She studied abroad at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, last fall.
