Egg hunt in Rock Falls
ROCK FALLS – The Coloma Park District’s free Easter egg hunt for children 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Centennial Park, 508 E. 11th St. Register in advance or from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. the day of at Storybook Village Shelter; the hunt starts promptly at 1:30 p.m.
The hunt is open to all Coloma and Montmorency township children. Registration is free; forms are available at the park district office, 508 E. 11th St., Rock Falls. The hunt will be held regardless of the weather.
Each division will hunt for eggs in a different section of the park. Children must bring a sack or basket to gather eggs in. The Easter bunny has left some 2,100 eggs for both groups, and all participants will receive an award.

Egg hunt at Westwood
STERLING – A free children’s Easter egg hunt will be at 1:30 p.m. at Westwood Fitness and Sports Center, 1900 Westwood Drive.
Eggs, candy, and prizes will be provided. Divisions are walkers through age 2; 3-4; 5-6, and 7-8. The hunt will take place rain or shine.

Egg hunt in Tampico
TAMPICO – The Tampico Lions Club is having a free Easter egg hunt for children through grade 5 beginning at 1 p.m. at Tampico Grade School, 202 W. Second St.
There will be 400 eggs filed with candy and cash, and after the walk there will be a drawing for a prize for a boy and one for a girl, and a name drawn for Bunny Bucks from Kewanee National Bank in Tampico.
The Easter bunny will be on hand; club secretary Terry Gaskill hopes to take pictures to be emailed to parents or other relatives free of charge.

Egg hunt at Dixon Rehab
DIXON – The Dixon Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, 800 Division St., is having a free Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. for children through age 10 or so.
From 10:15 to 11 a.m., the Easter bunny will be available for photos. There will be arts and crafts, face painting, doughnuts, milk, juice and coffee.

DIXON – A free egg hunt and other activities for kids ages 1 to 12 will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., rain or shine, at Bethel E.C. Church, 131 N. Court, behind Anne’s Garden Center off Galena Avenue.
Registration, games and crafts will be held from 3 to 4 p.m.; the egg hunt begins at 4 p.m., and stories and snacks will follow. There will be a cookie walk, a bounce house and tons of prizes that will be given out only at the end of the event.

ROCK FALLS – Happy Tails Humane Society and Animal Shelter is having its first Easter egg hunt at 5:30 p.m. at 1408 McNeil Road.
There also will be a deejay, a cotton candy spinner, and a visit from the Easter bunny, who will pose for photos. Kids will be grouped by age – 2-4, 5-7, and 8-12. TAMPICO – Royal Neighbors of America’s annual Easter egg hunt will be at 10:30 a.m. at Booth Park. Participants are asked to bring their own baskets.

OREGON – The Oregon Park District’s Flashlight Egg Hunt for kids in grades 5-8 begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Oregon Park West.
The hunt for toddlers through grade 4 begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, also at the park.
Kids must bring their own baskets to collect eggs, candy and prizes. Admission is free; registration is not required.

Easter fun in Mount Morris
MOUNT MORRIS – A free “Eggstravaganza” for kids 12 and younger starts with an Easter egg hunt at 10:30 a.m. in Dillehay Park, at the intersection of Stengel Drive and South Ogle Avenue.
After the hunt, there will be an Easter party at Evangelical Free Church of Mount Morris, 102 S. Seminary Ave., where magician Brett Belleque will put on a show and the church’s puppet team will perform. There will be door prizes and treats.
