MORRISON – The Morrison Chamber of Commerce will have a “meet the candidates” night at 6 p.m. March 21 in the community room at Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison St.

Participants include:

n Mayor: David J. Jindrich, R. Everett Pannier, Sarah Thorndike and Marti Wood.

Sen. Tim Bivins, R-Dixon, joined with many of his fellow Senate Republicans this week to reject a pension bill sponsored by Democratic Senate President John Cullerton of Chicago. The measure passed 40-16. Bivins had a different reason for his no vote.
