DIXON – A Dixon woman is being held on $150,000 bond in Lee County Jail on a warrant arrest for a series of charges, including theft and financial fraud.

According to an Illinois State Police news release, Audrey E. Stanley, 32, of Dixon, faces charges of theft; financial fraud; computer fraud; financial exploitation of an elderly person; and wire fraud.

The release states that she was arrested by Illinois State Police “after a lengthy investigation.”

A state police spokesperson said no further information would be released Friday.

Stanley is scheduled to be in Lee County court Monday.

According to an article published by Ogle County News in 2010, Stanley once worked as the Oregon branch manager for Midland States Bank.

An employee at the bank told Sauk Valley Media that no one named Audrey Stanley works at the bank.

It is not known whether the charges are related to Stanley’s job at the bank.

Lee County State’s Attorney Anna Sacco-Miller said Stanley was indicted by a Lee County grand jury. She said the attorney general’s office brought the charges against Stanley. Sacco-Miller said her office handled the case administratively.

Rock Falls is considering a ban on leaf burning. Should the city finally take that step?
Yes. Sterling and Dixon have had bans for years. It’s time for Rock Falls to impose a ban.
