Dixon man gets 2 years probation on drug charges
DIXON – A Dixon man was sentenced to 2 years of probation Thursday for possession of a controlled substance, Xanax.
As part of a plea agreement, charges of delivery of a controlled substance and delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a church, both felonies, were dismissed.
Salvatore Ferlauto, 50, sold Xanax to an informant in October. He was arrested in December, along with his brother, Joseph Ferlauto, who is charged with possession of firearm ammunition without a Firearm Owner’s Identification Card and possession of a firearm without a FOID card, both misdemeanors.
