Today

THEFT/FINANCIAL FRAUD CASE: Audrey E. Stanley, 32, of Dixon; facing charges of theft, financial fraud, computer fraud, financial exploitation of an elderly person and wire fraud. Stanley was indicted by a Lee County grand jury; Illinois State Police, who are investigating, have released no further information.

On the docket: First appearance.

Wednesday

DRUG CASE: Edward A. Lane, 53, of Dixon; charged with two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park; delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a church; delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school; delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, and one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Police say Lane sold cocaine to a police informant several times in June 2010.

On the docket: Bench trial.

BURGLARY CASE: Mitchell R. Jacobson, 25, of Rochelle; charged with burglary. Police say Jacobson and another man broke into an Ashton bar on Nov. 19 and stole bottles of alcohol. 

Jacobson also is charged with two counts of burglary in connection with Nov. 9 break-ins at Dave’s Automotive and Ashton Foods. 

On the docket: Pretrial conference.

BURGLARY CASE: Josephine Emmons, 18, of Big Rock; charged with residential burglary and theft. Police say Emmons and another person broke into an Amboy home and stole money and jewelry in January. 

On the docket: Preliminary hearing.

Thursday

ARMED ROBBERY CASE: Donte Myles, 25, of Chicago; charged with armed robbery. Police say Myles robbed a woman at knifepoint April 2 and took more than $1,000. 

On the docket: Status hearing. 

Friday

BRIBERY CASE: Stacie R. Nailor, 41, of Rock Falls; charged with bribery. Prosecutors say Nailor accepted $200 from an inmate at the Dixon Correctional Center on May 12 in exchange for a pound of tobacco and 1,000 rolling papers.

On the docket: Plea.

BATTERY CASE: Christopher C. Owens, 20, of Dixon; charged with four counts of aggravated arson and seven counts of attempted first-degree murder. Police say Owens set an apartment building on fire on Sept. 20 after getting into a fight outside the building with a man who lived there.
