Dixon tourism to unveil newsletter

DIXON – Tourism is looking to spread its outreach locally, regionally, statewide and even internationally through a newsletter.

The newsletter will be distributed to local businesses and other tourism outlets to promote Dixon events and locations. It could include links on where to stay and attractions in Dixon.

“Our newsletter will be a wonderful way to continually get the word out about exciting events in our town including our festivals, music events, Cabela’s Tournament and the list goes on and on,” said Vicky Turner, tourism board president. “We want to continually share information with both our local residents, but continually work toward our mission of bringing non-resident overnight visitors into our community.”

Call 815-284-3496 for more information about the newsletter or to subscribe.
