DIXON – Timothy F. O’Sullivan, 81, of Dixon, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Dixon Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He had worked for Warp Brothers Flex-O-Glass Inc. in Dixon for 47 years before retiring.
He was born May 11, 1931, in Chicago, the son of Patrick and Bridget “Della” (Loftus) O’Sullivan. He was a veteran of the Army during the Korean War. He married Virginia Rejdukowski on June 23, 1956, in Chicago.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Patrick O’Sullivan of Warrenville, Timothy O’Sullivan Jr. of Chicago, Michael (Phyllis) O’Sullivan of Hamilton, Ohio, and David O’Sullivan of Dixon; daughter, Amy (DJ) Bonnell of Dixon; grandchildren, Megan (Ryan) Ayers of Germantown Hills, Jennifer Fournier and Shawn O’Sullivan, both of Glendale Heights, Amanda (Clavis) Massman and Kelly O’Sullivan, both of Palm Coast, Fla., and Breana O’Sullivan of Dixon; great-grandchildren, Derek, Madilyn, and Logan Ayers, Katrina and Devin Fournier, and Jeremiah Lumpkins; brother-in-law, Donald Panek; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Loretta Panek and Mary O’Sullivan; and brother, Patrick O’Sullivan.
Visitation begins at 9 a.m. and the funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home in Dixon, with the Rev. Rich Frontjes, rector at St. Luke Episcopal Church in Dixon, officiating. Burial, with military honors by the Dixon combined veterans group, will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon.
A memorial has been established to the National Kidney Foundation.
