Local youth to compete at state

DIXON – David Swegle, a sixth-grade student at St. Anne School, will compete April 5 in the state competition of the National Geography Bee at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn. 

Swegle won first place Jan. 14 at St. Anne’s bee, answering the most correct questions. He took a written test supplied by the National Geographic Society, which was submitted to the state level in January.
