DIXON Four women facing drug charges

DIXON – The Illinois State Police Drug Enforcement Task Force is releasing few details in the case of four Dixon women arrested for possession of various drugs, including cocaine and heroin, in a possible drug conspiracy.

Jeralyn Jean Allen, 51, Angella Arlene Schultheis, 32, Melissa Jo Evans, 33, and Heather Ann Wilcox, 29, were arrested Friday.

Allen, Schultheis and Evans each are charged with criminal drug conspiracy and delivery of a controlled substance. Evans also is charged with delivery of a controlled substance.

It was easy to get distracted by the performance of it all. The active shooter drill held by Sterling and County Police last week at the high school. The scenario; two armed shooters in the school killing students and teachers and the police and medical technician's response. It's an unfortunate drill, but a necessary one.
