ROCK FALLS – Raymond C. ‘Chuck’ Schutt, 57, died Saturday March 2, 2013, at CGH Medical Center after an illness. He had been employed at Northwestern Steel & Wire Co. as a welder.

Raymond was born Aug. 26, 1955, in Sterling, the son of Raymond and Arlene (Jellerichs) Schutt.

Survivors include his significant other, Shirley Austin; one sister, Amy Schutt of Sterling; three brothers, Randy (Jean) Schutt of Rock Falls, and Richard Schutt and Michael (Sue) Schutt, both of Sterling.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa, on July 30, 1991, his parents and one nephew.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, and his funeral at 11 a.m., at Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park.

A memorial has been established.
